Apple iPad 2 arriving with an anti-reflective, thinner screen?

With the pending announcement of iPad 2, it’s features and release date, a new rumor has surfaced concerning the device’s screen.
According to an analyst from Concord Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo, the display of iPad 2 will, unfortunately not have as a high a resolution screen as many have desired.
Rather, according to Kuo, iPad 2′s screen will be different both in its thickness and reflective-nature. The screen is said to be 30-35 percent thinner and also offer a better sunlight reading experience due to the anti-reflective properties. The latter is something Amazon’s Kindle has cited as one of the key differences between the two products in commercials for the device.
The report also claims that the next iPad will use a Cortex A9 dual core processor running at 1.2GHz, as well as Imagination Technologies’ SGX 543 dual-core GPU. The iPad 2′s RAM will also see a much needed boost to 512MB, equal to the iPhone 4. The iPad 2 is also expected to use the same lower quality front and back cameras found in the iPod Touch.
Do you see potential problems with a thinner screen on iPad 2? Perhaps the device will be more prone to screen cracks, scratches, ect.? Does an anti-reflective screen excite you at all or do you still long for a higher resolution screen?
