Apple Remembers Steve Jobs with Tribute Video

Steve-Jobs-Apple-CEO

To honor the one-year anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs, Apple has replaced its home page with a video tribute to their iconic co-founder.

The 1-minute, 45-second video features black-and-white still images and quotes from Jobs, who died on October 5, 2011 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

In the video, Jobs’ voice is heard saying:

“It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology alone is not enough — it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our heart sing and nowhere is that more true than in these post-PC devices.”

The quote above comes from the iPad 2 release a year ago.

The video also depicts some of Apple’s product releases overseen by Jobs like the iPhone, iMac and iPod.

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since the death of Steve Jobs, but Apple’s wonderful tribute shows Jobs is a man that won’t soon be forgotten.
