Apple’s iPhone at 5 years old

It’s been five years since the first iPhone “changed everything”, and below is an excellent graphic from Statista to put how far Apple’s iconic device in perspective.
Apple changed the game with the iPhone by making a touchscreen phone the one everyone wanted.
Apple continued to innovate by introducing stunning breakthroughs in the iPhone’s industrial design with better materials, size (thinness), and screen pixel density. The phone not only changed the way the world looks at a phone, it also changed Apple as a company generating $150 billion since its inception.
In 2007, the iPhone was miniscule to the Cupertino based company’s bottom line, now it accounts for 58 percent of the company’s cash flow — help making it the wealthiest company in the world.
Today, the iPhone is the standard by which all other smartphones are judged.
