It’s no secret that the iPhone is one of the most popular devices on the market both for consumers, and unfortunately, thieves. Theft of Apple iPhones and it’s larger sibling, the iPad, has grown so prevalent, especially in New York City, that it’s become known as “Apple picking.”
Apple theft has become so popular in fact, that if you were to remove that stat, crime in New York would have plummeted in 2012. Last year alone in New York City, there was 16,000 reported incidents of “Apple picking” that accounted for 16% of all crimes committed. (more…)

But this is a new one, China Times is suggesting Apple could be introducing a new iPhone which will not only be bigger than the iPhone 5, but one which will also have a ridiculous name: “iPhone Math”. (more…)

iTunes turns 12 years old today. For many it’s hard to remember a time without it, and for others we can’t believe it’s been that long already.
Launching iTunes became just as important to the rebirth of Apple as the iPod itself. It gave music fans a simple and easy way to find and buy music. Over the years iTunes has changed drastically, as it has incorporated more content, and has had to sync with more devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad), but it wasn’t until it’s latest release in November 2012, that it received it’s biggest visual overhaul.
