Comparing the King of Tablets, Apple’s iPad

The iPad has grown in popularity from the release of the first generation iPad, until the release of the most recent iPad earlier this year. In fact, only 11.5 million people owned an iPad in 2010, that number growing to 28 million in 2011, and now Apple’s iPad makes up 65 percent of all tablets owned.
The third generation iPad has accounted for the majority of the device’s sales, with one million sold the first day and three million sold in the first three days.
Even though the iPad has experienced massive growth across consumer group categories, it remains most popular among male users (66 percent), with those ages 25 to 36 leading the pack.
The team at Infographic Labs has put together an infographic that details how users have embraced the iPad over the years, from using it while watching TV to cozying up to it in bed or even using it in the bathroom.
How do you use your iPad? Has it changed over the years?
