IK Multimedia’s VocaLive for iPad Now Available
Many of you, like me, are musicians at heart. You’ve no doubt used your iPad for a variety of musician-based tasks so far, just as I have. From recording, mixing, creating, and more, technology is really making at-home and on-the-go recording simple. One company out there is not only creating great apps to use with your iOS device (be it iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad), but also hardware to help as well, and that’s IK Multimedia. They’ve introduced some great accessories/apps in the last year and a half, such as the iRig Mic, iRig, AmpliTube, and iKlip.
One new release they have is called VocaLive for iPad. It’s the first real professional performing and recording vocal processor for the iPad. It includes 5 vocal effects and 7 studio effects. You can record vocals or other instruments in a single track or with the use of multi-track, and can be expanded to become an extremely versatile 8-track studio of sorts.

When purchasing you have 2 options. There is a fully baked version of VocaLive for $19.99 that comes with all the effects and abilities. However, there is also a free version that allows one to only purchase effects as needed. The option here is a good one. For those who need a lot, spend the $20 and go all-in. For those who don’t, or simply want to try it out, check out the free version.
