Report claims iPhone 5 will be released on August 7

According to a “reliable industry source” speaking with Know Your Mobile, Apple will announce the next iPhone on Aug 7.
Rumor and speculation about the next generation iPhone have been swirling even before WWDC 2012.
Following Apples announcement of the release of iOS 6 this fall, most rightfully believed the next iPhone, referred to as the iPhone 5, to become available around the same time.
Apple released the iPhone 4S in October of 2011, after previous versions of the iPhone were released in the June-July timeframe.
Many believe the iPhone 5 will have a larger and elongated screen.
The new screen will evidently measure 4.0 inches with 16:9 aspect ratio, compared to the current 3.5-inch screen with 3:2 ratio. The iPhone 5 may also come with A6 quad-core processor and 4G LTE.
Apple’s new iOS 6 will power iPhone 5, with a new Maps app featuring 3D viewing and turn-by-turn navigation function, upgraded Siri voice service and many other features we’ve previously covered.
What do you think? Will Apple release the next iPhone in August or in the fall? Share your prediction in the comments below!
