Animation Desk for iPad is an app that allows anyone to take your drawings and turn them into creative, awesome, animations.

Users start with an empty slate and tools including: pencils, crayons and paintbrushes. Animation Desk then makes it super easy to go drawing by drawing and frame by frame, culminating in your very own animated masterpiece.

After completing your first frame, you move on to creating as many additional frames as you need to complete your creation. Inserting or removing individual frames is easy and can be done whenever you see fit. Your animation is entirely yours and Animation Desk lets you do whatever you want to it, whenever your imagination changes directions.

The app’s screen, in addition to displaying your drawings, erasing or undoing mistakes, redoing something you’d like to add back, scrolling through all of your frames and even letting your animation run to see how it’s shaping up.

Animation Desk also provides file management options for opening, deleting, editing and playing any of your creations.  One can also duplicate animations to adapt or update a previous animation without damaging the first. When you are finished with an animation, you can choose to share it on Facebook, YouTube, send as an animated e-card or export it to your Photo Library.

And now with version 2.0, Animation Desk has gotten even better! What’s changed? To begin, the UI has been enhanced, as has management of sound effects – an outstanding update.

The app also has an enhanced color palatte, unlimited swatch sets, the ability to clear single frames, drag and place the Palm Rejection Cloth anywhere you want it, and multi-touch gestures to switch between frames.
