There’s a new app from Apple out there, and it’s for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. It’s called iTunes Festival London 2012, and is your look into the 30 day music extravaganza. It has run every year since 2007, growing each year. A new band/act appears each night in London, and Apple will be streaming the shows live to iDevices and Apple TV. There are around 60 bands scheduled to perform at some point across September, and while some of the acts may not be your thing, there is sure to be something worthwhile.

Right now there isn’t much to view (shows started 9/1), however if you view the calendar of gigs, you can see that there are plenty of great upcoming acts, and many are viewable after the fact for a limited time.

iTunes Festival is a nice app to get into some music and even learn about the artists, as there is a database of information for each one, links to buy their albums (of course through iTunes), and more.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, head over to the App Store to pick this free app up! If you have an Apple TV, there is an update ready to add this beauty to your device, if it hasn’t already done so.
