Review : Roxie’s a-MAZE-ing Vacation Adventure for iPad
Like mazes? Have an iPad? Wanna have a ton of fun and spend a ton of time doing it? Then give Roxie’s a-MAZE-ing Vacation Adventure a try. It’s a fullscreen, multi-screen maze game that users must navigate through using a car, footprints, plane, ski’s, and raft. There are 16 screens that are all intertwined and connected, and users must also be on the lookout for objects to collect, such as letters, numbers, star pieces, and more.
This new maze by Roxie Munro was uniquely designed specifically for this release, and it combines challenging play, amazing graphics that highlight the iPad, and a very good user interface. This is something that kids as well as adults can play and appreciate. One of the best things about this “Vacation Adventure” is that each time you play your adventure is a little different as you’re asked to “find and seek” different objects, making replay value very high.
It’s obvious that a great deal of time and effort went into planning the maze scenes. They are not just “walls” or “paths” that one must navigate through, but instead filled with images and great surroundings, making it even MORE difficult to complete (I’m still working on it honestly).
My only wish for this great app would be to allow “panning” of the different screens. If I am at the end of one screen I’d love to be able to move it a little and see some of the next screen before deciding to “move” there or not. Other than that tiny little issue, I found this app to be fun and very time consuming…it’s not something to be finished in a few minutes that’s for sure.
