Review : Super Mosaic For Kids
There are many great kids apps, and we’ve highlighted quite a few of them here. A new one hit my inbox the other day and I wasn’t sure that it was worth it, then my kids used it…and loved it…shows you what I know sometimes.
The app is called Super Mosaic for Kids. It’s not just a game, but a creativity tool that uses shapes and puzzle type techniques to let children (or adults) create images using figures and a cut-out for them. The app has 8 stages and each stage has 3 levels, and within each the user puts together an image using the various shapes they’ve been given. As users assemble the shapes, and they are fit together to form an object, the object takes a more “real world” look. We had a blast trying to guess each time what it would be.
The sounds and graphics of the app are great, and the actual “game-play” works great too. Kids don’t have to line things up 100% perfectly, but they do have to get it close, and while at first the levels are crazy easy…as my kids moved up it became harder and harder to fit things together just the right way.
I hope for future updates that add even more levels and stages….hopefully not via in-app purchase as my kids and I refuse to go that route with things. However, as it stands now, Super Mosaic for Kids is a fun and engaging puzzle type app for kids that I found highly entertaining to use as a family.
